I played this opening and it is nasty against someone who is or not that good at the closed sicilian.I had mate 20 or more moves mated with my knights and a bishop.now I really need to play the sicilian again like I did long time ao.

i think i read somewhere that nc3 also stops d5 sac if you intend on playing f4... dunno it might be another opening...

A popular opening used by most Grandmasters. As for me it is a very sharp opening usually aiming a counter-attack on the queen side wing. So far it is also dangerous if you under estimated it.
