 I think its a very common move but isnt protected so i may recommend d4 instead? Or start with Nc3 then go 2. e4 so it's protected!

this is the best possible opening for white. it helps develop alot faster than other openings plus it helps you go on the offense and in case defense. Awesome opening.

How does it make you 'vulnerable to attacks?' as someone said?

Reiterating my question - I'd like to get some opinions on this -

What makes c5 a better response to e4 than say e6/e5?
