i genrlly use e4 as it gives me more attacking chances in d further game

 I think its a very common move but isnt protected so i may recommend d4 instead? Or start with Nc3 then go 2. e4 so it's protected!

I try not to set any piece by itself with out support.

this is the best possible opening for white. it helps develop alot faster than other openings plus it helps you go on the offense and in case defense. Awesome opening.
