Not a very good move limits your oposition and your opponent oposition maby if your looking for a draw it good plan but if your looking to win do e4 and use the most of your white advantage
The opening i use mostly is King pawn, but i see no real difference in the two, by the king pawn i see directly the crossline queen bishop open for quick attack situations, and by the queen pawn is see more the defensive situations.
But with my play-level it is not that important how i open, i loose many time by not overlooking the board good and give presents to my challenger.
But these kind of discusions helps me to understand the view of others to, the computer i played always against did not give any info so thanks to you all.
the best opening
sure, but also you'll need support for the queen, to beat your opponent
I really dont know alot about chess names of openings,i played for a while then drop out of it. now i getting back to it. let see what i can learn from the best around the world. game on people..
a very good first move for beginners as well as e4
MY FAVORITE..!
I've got a much better record as black when queens pawn opening is used than when the kings pawn opening is used, my only losses have been against people with much higher ratings than me at the time. Personally I find it a bit easier to play against than kings pawn.
this is my best opening
i am a e4 player, and what i belive is none cant say surely which one is strongest e4 or d4,it u are interested to make a debate with me,i will suggest u to calm down cause it will be totally waste of time.e4 is generally known for its open play and d4 turns game to little bit closed.e4 is tactical d4 is vry comfortable for positional players.Kaspy said evry player will switch to d4 when they have studied e4 really deep, but dont go for it like a blind,u know why?cause the great bobby did not say anything like that:).so pick the move which matches with ur style.
The queens pawn is without a doubt the strongest opening in chess IMO. However I only use it when I see fit too.
I mix my openings...i never play the same opening in any games..its good to keep people guessing
