Looks like an odd opening, I'll try it out
I have played this opening and have not lost with it yet. It is great in live chess, as even in 10|10 time, it seems players are thrown off by the strange start. For example:
ROFL SODIUM ATTACK
Are there any commonly played openings using 1. N-h3 2. g3?
i hate doble pawn:)
very instructive!ggs

these following 5 games made me an ardent supporter of the Na3 move.Produced from the Young Teener's Chess Club members. We also call the A00 Tapel-Tomas Opening,"Mangahan Opening" From our National Fruit, the Philippine Mango. And also because we play chess under the Mango Trees' Shades. It is funny ,but it is true.

Why is it called the Tapel-Tomas Opening?
The answer is elaborated in this Topic or forum, but to answer it,Tapel(Me ,ChessTrainor) while the Tomas,my Chess pupil at 5 years old, Lee N.Tomas discovered this move.Me ,ChessTrainor develop the moves to different responses by black ,it won as the NCR Palaro 2007,with Joymee O.Morales(my chess student) using it 4 times as white,a regional and annual Chess program of the Department of Education in the Philippines. and to date it has won 150(myself) plus games, about 15 defeats from different chess sites,Like Instant Chess,Playchess.Com and our own chess site,Live chess!,Tapel-Tomas(the greater-the lesser) even if you discover something and if not put to good use,it is nothing,The logic is like this,Before it is only Sozin Attack of the Sicilian Defense,Now it is Fischer/Sozin Attack and in other new books,Sozin is dropped,Its Fischer Attack!.The greater takes precedence over the Lesser. Thanks for asking,fr ChessTrainor.
