i call this opening:
A00 - Benko's Opening
Hi
This is opening that i learned first. I was 5 or 6 years old and i used it a lot as a child.
Last friday i used it in 12 or so games against 1 opponent in 15 min games and won everytime.
3rd time i used it he got openly frustrated and confused (saying :wtf, what kind of opening is that . . .) because he didnt know how ot counter this opening.
Study Pal C. Benko and Jeurgen Korn; both of them loved to use this opening (and they were very proficient with it), but they developed along very different lines. Try Duncan Suttles vs. Benko (1974) for the most radical development of the Hungarian Opening that I've seen used (in a game in which white won).
i notice the good stats of the opening, but it seems to me to require a very skilled player to pull it off....snacks
Not that i know alot of chess i think using this opening means taking some risk. I woundt use it because im a novice player but expert players may use it i guess..
i examined all of the openings. happly now i know how to start the game. But after that im not really good =-(
Neither me or my opponent never made this as a opening move. so, i can say nothing about this.
better opening position for the game winning
Back thenIused this quite often and managed to win against a lot of human players, but I never had luck with this opening against computer. One thing I struggled with was the use of overlapping Queen/Bishop combination against the G2 bishop. Anyone has got any insight to this?
