About Me:
I am 30 years old, a father of two and also a husband of 9 years. My favorite thing to do other than spend time with my family is play golf. I shoot in the 80's regularly, but that's with playing 2 or 3 times a month. If I could devote more time to golf, I would be in the mid to high 70's.
I have been playing chess since April '07 and although I have known about the game since I was young, (say about 13), I never had any clue what the wonderful world of chess had to behold. I devote as much time as my schedule will let me to playing the game, while at the same time learning because I don't study chess away from the board even though I should if I want to be a contender at a higher level. I usually play e4 and I am a tactical and strategic player; I also calculate a lot during the course of a game. I have never entered a tourny for the fact I don't consider myself strong enough to compete at a high level yet. My favorite players are Kasparov, Fischer, Capablanca, and Vishy. "Chess is life in miniature; Chess is struggle, Chess is battles" Garry Kasparov--World Chess Champion 1985-2000 (undisputed & classical) highest rating 2851
