Individual & Team Play!

Players from the same school may play as a team.  The top 4 scores are added for the team score, but a school can enter as many players as they wish.

Sections

Players enter in one of four sections: 12^th grade & under, 8^th grade & under, 6^th grade & under, or 3^rd grade & under.  You play only those in your section.

Rounds

All players will play 5 rounds, G/40.  12^th grade & under may play 4 rounds at G/50 depending on entries.  Round 1 will start at 9 am for all.  All other rounds will start ASAP at the conclusion of the previous round.

Awards

Trophies will be awarded to the top 10 finishers and top 5 teams in each section.  Additional trophies awarded based on entries.

Food available onsite.

Please bring chess clocks and sets.

Registration

Registration can be mailed to Scott Reisinger, East Side Middle School, 2300 Lindberg Rd., Anderson, IN 46012.  Entries can be emailed to MSReisinger@Hotmail.com and paid onsite. 

Onsite registration will be available on Sat. morning, 12/6 until 8:15 am.  Anyone not registered by 8:15 am will receive a half-point bye for round one and begin play in round 2, no exceptions.  Arrive early to avoid this, as we all know how long the line can get!  Doors open at 7:00.

Entry Fee is $15 per player if received by 12/1/08,

$20 by 12/5/08 at 5pm, $25 after and onsite

USCF Membership required and available onsite.
