wouldn't 11. gxf6 been beter?  I mean, this would help to bolster up the centre against the onslaught of pawns - whereas the knight became a target. Can someone enlighten me?

Should it not have been 11...gxf6, so there are more central pawns to defend and the black knight does not become a target allowing white a further tempo or two?  Can someone please respond!

Great game though.
