And here I bring you puzzle from the famous game between London and Edinburgh. We are in the last stage of the game, you have White pieces and are ready to march with your King and break through your enemy's defences on the Kingside, following by victorius march of your passed pawn. Look for the moves and discover the game that gave birth to the new opening and became part of chess history.

What about 5. Re7? Isn't checkmate unstoppable? After 5.???, Rg7+, Kh8, Rh7+, Kg8, Rg7#.

No, Black can play 7. ... Rf8 and rook is guarded by Bishop.

White moved his King with 5. Kh6 to avoid exchange of rooks, after 5. R3e7 Rg8 and rook on g7 is pinned.

Excellent!!  Took me quite awhile to figure out this famous game. To be honest, several times I just moved all the pieces until I found the right choice.Wink
