Endgame puzzle

There is no doubt that the endgame is a fundamental part of chess theory and practice. Myself, I am quite a weak endgame player and I have a love/hate relationship with it. I'm sure we could all use a puzzle or two about the endgame which seem much more sparse than puzzles set in middle game where there are dazzling tactics at play.

yea I probably shouldn't have done this in puzzle format, since there are actually multiple good moves by white and multiple moves by black. I was hoping to convey the main idea of this example, which is that the queen can not be stopped as long as white is a little bit careful.

Black's play seems off.

Rybka gives 1. ...ra4 after Bd3
