In this game, Duras ignores the threat to his own king and plunges into a head on attack on his opponent's king. He sticks his pieces into active positions, and rounds off the game with a queen sac.
ok, but white seriously wasted some time. lovely finish though.
Brilliant shot
White move 21 is simply retarded
White plays a poor game, yes. That said - a lovely finish!
White's attack was not coordinated at all. No wonder that Black ignored it and attacked instead of defending.
It was a nice attack by black, but I felt white wasted the initiative after step 8.
very good game...
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice game. However in my opinion White wasted two moves namely 21 Qh6 and 22 Bc3. Will any body agree to me.
Agreed that these were wasted moves (and they removed the Q from playing any defensive role), but they came after a series of questionable moves in my humble opinion.
Namely, 12. g4? ... and 13. f4? Why not 12. Bc4+, or 12. Qd5+, followed by 13. Bc3+, or some similar combination before trying to advance the pawns (or, better yet, developing the Q's N)?
wow very nice atk with 2rooks and bishops
nice! the last 5 moves of black should most definitely be made into a puzzle.
Brilliant game, thanks for posting it.
fantastic play excellent vision to see that combintion
yay.......
absolutely brilliant play..
brilliant!
Now why can't I do stuff like that? :(
Impressive how he left his King "alone" while he murdered the enemy King (well, the threat 12.Qxh7+ could not be ignored)
smooth. cunning. fearless.
